4-3-2024 Editorial: Team Creation Changes - And a Place for the Homies

This month, we've worked on big changes to how new teams are created in Hattrick. Hattrick will no longer reuse teams, which will make things smoother for new users and also change how botification of teams work.
In addition to this and a set of smaller improvements around the site, we want to give a heads-up to a new international league that will open next season: The Hattrick Homegrown League.

3-31-2024 Deportivo Mato Grande Seizes Masters Title!

In a pulsating clash on Thursday, Deportivo Mato Grande clashed with Barack Osama in the Hattrick Masters Final. This intense showdown marked the first Masters finals appearance for both Cape Verde and Peru.

The match erupted with an early goal just 4 minutes in, giving Deportivo the lead. But the Peruvian side fought back fiercely, securing an equalizer in the 28th minute. At halftime, the score stood at 1 - 1, setting the stage for a thrilling second half.

With tensions escalating, Gaspar Olival stepped up, scoring the decisive goal in the 52nd minute. Ultimately, Deportivo emerged triumphant with a 2 - 1 victory and claiming the Hattrick Masters trophy.

3-27-2024 Switch to Summer Time

On Sunday morning, Central European Time (CET) switches to summer time (daylight savings time). This means that the hour between 02:00 and 03:00 CET will never occur. Of course, all matches, transfers, and so on will happen, just formally one hour late. Please be aware of this for transfer deadlines, matches, etc.
